DeltaBody is a body composition tracking app that works entirely on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers.
Data We Access
With your permission, DeltaBody reads the following HealthKit data types. Activity and nutrition are read so a challenge can show what you did alongside what changed; they usually come from other apps you already use, and the app works without them.
- Body composition: Body Mass (weight), Body Fat Percentage, Lean Body Mass, Body Mass Index (BMI), Waist Circumference
- Activity: Steps, Active Energy, Exercise Minutes, Workouts
- Nutrition: Dietary Energy, Protein, Carbohydrates, Total Fat, Water
DeltaBody writes only the measurements you enter yourself:
- Body Mass (weight), Body Fat Percentage, Lean Body Mass, Body Mass Index (BMI), Waist Circumference
Activity and nutrition are never written — the app has no write permission for them at all.
This data is used solely to display your body composition trends within the app.
Data Storage
All health data is stored locally in Apple Health on your device. App preferences such as start values and goals are stored locally using on-device storage. No data is transmitted to any server, cloud service, or third party.
Third-Party Services
DeltaBody does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or cloud services.
Data Sharing
We do not share, sell, or transfer your data to any third party. Your data never leaves your device.
In-App Purchases
DeltaBody offers optional one-time contributions and auto-renewable subscriptions (monthly and yearly) as in-app purchases. All transactions are processed exclusively by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store any payment information. Subscriptions renew automatically and can be managed or cancelled at any time in iOS Settings under „Subscriptions“.
Your Rights
You can revoke DeltaBody’s access to Apple Health at any time via Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → DeltaBody. Deleting the app removes all locally stored preferences. Health data remains in Apple Health until you delete it manually.
Children’s Privacy
DeltaBody is not directed at children under 13. The app does not collect any personal data from any user.
